IQ Hotel Roma gave us everything we needed for our short break. If you are from the UK, it is like a Premiere Inn, but with free snacks and drinks (which my children loved) and beer in the mini bar. The rooms are basic and functional, but clean and well serviced. There were bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap etc and also cotton buds, cotton wool, nail files and hair dryer in the bathroom. It felt as though they wanted to make sure you had everything you needed. Housekeeping were exceptional. There is a self service laundry room in the hotel, with Miele appliances (washers and driers), which dispense laundry liquid for you. There is also an iron and ironing board. There are also spaces in the hotel where there are vending machines for things you may not have, such as tweezers, beers and wines and food. There is a roof top terrace with tables and chairs if you need some fresh air. The breakfast was good. There is an excellent coffee machine, freshly baked croissants, tarts, cake and pastries. The freshly squeezed orange juice was welcome. The cooked breakfast wasn’t so good, but that didn’t bother us too much. There was fresh fruit, cheeses and yoghurts etc too. The location of the hotel is great. We walked to the Trevi Fountain in around 20 minutes and there were lots of restaurants and gelato places along the way. It is also a very short walk to the metro in case you would prefer to catch a tube somewhere. The tube goes across the city and to just outside Vatican City. You can also transfer to the train station to get a train to and from the airport via the Metro. There are several decent restaurants close by. The restaurant above the hotel is fabulous. Very attentive staff and great food. The hotel is also very close to an opera house, which I hadn’t realised from the map. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have maps at reception should you need one.

This is our second time staying at IQ Roma. We traveled as a family of 5 so we had two rooms (a triple and double). I love this hotel so much. Its in a great location (easy to walk to sights) and is quiet and clean. The only downfall was that the beds and room temperature were so comfortable that we slept in until 9:30 am nearly everyday :). We did not eat at the restaurant on the top floor (where the breakfast used to be) but did have a bottle of wine and an appetizer the first night we got there. The wine and cocktails were good but the appetizer was just ok. (I don't think the restaurant is part of the hotel as we couldn't charge our bill to the room). The breakfast was as amazing as I remember. A great variety of delicious food and reasonably priced. It was a nice was a great way to start the day with lots of fresh options. The staff was wonderful and aided us in getting taxis and private cars for trips to the airport. My youngest also enjoyed the rooftop hot tub after a long day of walking. We originally had booked a much more expensive hotel down the street as IQ did not have availability, about 3 months prior. They charged extra for everything (use of the hot tub) and you had to make reservations for drinks and a breakfast time. I kept checking booking.com for cancellations at IQ and luckily about a week before our trip, two rooms became available and I immediately switched bookings. So glad I did!

The rooms and bathrooms are clean, beds are very comfortable with great pillows. IQ provides almost everything you need in the bathroom with their vanity kits (Cotton pads, qtips, nail file, etc), along with lotion, shampoo and conditioner. They also provide a great variety of snacks and drinks every day at no additional cost in the room. And the included breakfast across the lobby is wonderful! The concierge is quick to help whenever you need, and very friendly. Also, they speak English very well, which was very helpful for us. The laundry facilities were convenient and cleaned our clothes well. Only two washers and two dryers, so sometimes they were full, and they are a bit tricky. Also, try the Osteria di Riposto across the street! Best food I had in Rome! The picture is the view from our room. I would definitely stay here again!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at iQ Hotel Roma! Everything was perfect, from the warm and attentive staff to the impeccably clean and comfortable rooms. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore Rome’s top attractions. The breakfast deserves a special mention – it was truly outstanding, offering a wide variety of options to suit every taste. From fresh pastries and fruits to savory dishes and excellent coffee, it was the perfect way to start the day. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome and can’t wait to return for another exceptional experience. Thank you, iQ Hotel Roma, for making my trip so memorable!

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located close to the train station, making it ideal for travelers. The flexible check-in and check-out times were a great bonus, allowing me to adjust to my schedule easily. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a reliable air conditioning system that kept the space comfortable. Breakfast options were varied and satisfying, offering something for everyone. Additionally, the price was reasonable for the quality and amenities provided. Overall, a great value for money! Oh, and the snacks were included!
